Willow Switches
"Willow Switches" is a personal music project of Eriks Vitolins. Combining sounds of folk, psychedelia, lo-fi and garage rock, Willow Switches has laid down the groundwork for a concept album purely motivated by his love for music and guitar. Their current demos are divided into two distinct "albums", which display the two distinct "sides" to their sound.

Natural, acoustic sounds dominate this album with eerie vocal melodies and a laid back attitude. Even with the Americana/Folk influences, Willow Switches finds a way to work in the psychedelic sounds to put it in a category of it's own.

Even surprising themselves, this collection turned grungier and even more pop-influenced than expected. Quoting sounds from both the present day and the past, "Switches" has some catchy, laid back tunes and vocal influences possibly stemming from the monotone voice of late Lou Reed.
